Walk Around Warsaw Raises Mental Health Awareness (2016)

WARSAW — It’s O.K. to have mental health issues, even if they’re hard for families to discuss. A group of people walked throughout the village Thursday with a purpose — the 10th annual Wyoming County Suicide Prevention Awareness walk, in which participants wear yellow shirts to raise awareness. Some people in attendance have been affected by suicide, whether it be themselves or loved ones, who took or attempted to take their own lives.
